Hi friends! Welcome to another Ink to Paper Holiday Create-a-thon post! For the whole month of November, there will be brand new Fall and Holiday inspiration over at the Ink to Paper blog!
Today I'm sharing a card featuring the Season of Joy and Peaceful Forest sets.
I love, love, love the beautiful script font in the Season of Joy set! I usually plan my cards around the images and then just fit the sentiments in wherever I can but this time I designed everything around the sentiments!
After embossing the trees (from Peaceful Forest) in white, I added some pastel ink blending to the background (using Distress Oxide inks) along with paint splatters in several different colors.
I die cut the Joy sentiment (from the Season of Joy die set) from silver glitter paper. For embellishment, I sprinkled on several white sequins.
Fun fact: I am a sucker for flower stamps and can safely say that they are my favorite! In fact, I have twice as many flower stamp sets as any other kind! I rarely see a floral stamp set that I don't absolutely love and have to have! :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
